France

Hello everybody!
In our last English lesson we were talking about tourism and the language trip to France.
I haven’t been on the trip, but my classmates gave me some information about the trip. And now I would like to give the information I got to you.
The language trip took place from 17th June to 24th June 2016. My classmates travelled by train to Vienna and then they took the plane to fly to Paris. From there on they took the bus to drive to St. Malo where they stayed at host families.
They were visiting several sights in St. Malo, e.g. the old part of the city, an oyster farm or Mont Saint Michel. They also told me that they had a Guide who gave them some information on the sights they visited. The guide tried to use easy vocabulary to make it possible for my classmates to understand what he told to them. They also told me that the weather was fine most of the time.
The last three days they spent in Paris, where they stayed at a youth hotel. In Paris they visited the Eiffel Tower, the Champs d’Elysée and Notre Dame. The guide they had in Paris didn’t use easy vocabulary like the guide from St. Malo so my classmates could hardly understand him.

Hope you enjoyed reading.

Yours,
Nadja

  1. I'm sorry you couldn't go! Glad your classmates shared their experience, though. If you say 'like' rather than 'as' in your last sentence, it'll flow better. :)
